running of the bulls family day fun run
starting and ending at cam
sunday, may 1
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Celebrate the last day of the exhibitions Manon de Boer: Between Perception and Sensation and Richard Aldrich and the 19th Century French Painting and help us prepare for the next exhibition with a family friendly fun run along Washington Avenue. Inspired by the upcoming exhibition Cryptic, featuring works by the Spanish master Francisco Goya, the fun run will occur along the short route between Spring and Grand along Washington Avenue. Navigate your way through family art and fitness activities as your family and friends cheer you on! Costumed bulls will no doubt speed up your hands-on activities along the race route (don’t worry – no real bulls involved). Participants will end the race with a self-created bull run inspired costume, but we also encourage you to come dressed in your own thematic garb! After the race enjoy music outside and pick up a meal and drink from one of the many food and dessert trucks and stations along the street. Then step inside the museum for other creative activity stations, a raffle, and end the day with a story time!
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to join CAM for the Running of the Bulls Family Day Fun Run. Let’s all stay safe and keep all wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) at home. Baby strollers are allowed. Registration is not required, but be ready to start the fun run at 12:30 pm sharp!
