What did current exhibiting artist Francisco Goya and his 18th Century Spanish peers drink? Find out Thursday, July 21 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm by joining CAM for Drink What Goya Drank where you can sample specially concocted libations designed by expert mixologist Charlie Myers of McGurk’s Public House in O’Fallon. These personally designed cocktails were influenced by those during Goya’s lifetime at the turn of the 18th Century.

Throughout the night join zoologist Kimberly Hoormann from the Saint Louis Zoo as she explores the concepts of allegory and crypsis within the context of the animal kingdom. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to view both Goya’s prints and live zoo animals under the same roof.

So, if you have grown tired of the same old neighborhood hangouts, stop by CAM for some complimentary “Goya”-inspired cocktails and get up close and personal with a live owl, or two. Get comfortable, enjoy some contemporary art, and get lost in the night life at CAM.
