The influential BBC documentary Cracked Actor (1974) follows David Bowie during his 1974 Diamond Dogs tour of America. Filmed at a prolific time in Bowie’s recording and acting career, the movie captures a drug-addled and fragile rock star in a mixture of sequences filmed in limousines, hotels, and concert venues.
