Designed for ages 5 to 9, this artist-led workshop gives hands-on experience to aspiring young artists. Participants will work with local artist Netta Sadovsky to create a felted collage using wool roving. Collages made with colored pencils and decorative paper will serve as inspiration, and young artists will leave with pieces they can craft into three dimensional forms, cut into new material, or frame as finished drawings!
Netta Sadovsky is an artist and art teacher currently living in St. Louis, Missouri. Sadovsky graduated from Washington University in 2012 with a degree in fine arts. She has shown her artwork throughout St. Louis and has co-curated various group exhibitions in alternative spaces in the city. She currently teaches at St. Louis Artworks, an after-school art program for high school students.
Adults are invited to take a private tour of the exhibition during the workshop.
