Join us for a collaborative evening of short, accessible, and informative talks that focus on approaches to contemporary photography, painting, and sculpture. The program begins at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, then moves to CAM and the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts.
Approaching Photography: Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum
6:00 PM; Wine and cheese served.
This 15-20 minute program hosted by Allison Taylor, Manager of Education programs at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, will discuss contemporary practices in the field of photography while examining artworks in the exhibition Contemporary German Art: Selections from the Permanent Collection. Galleries will be open until 8:00 PM.
Approaching Painting: Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
7:00 PM; Light refreshments served.
This 15-20 minute program hosted by Tuan Nguyen, Education Manager at the Contemporary Art Museum, will explore the practice of painting in relation to CAM’s exhibition Lari Pittman: A Decorated Chronology. Galleries will be open until 9:00 PM.
Approaching Sculpture: The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts

In this 15-20 minute program Gretchen Wagner, Curator at the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, will discuss sculpture in the context of the exhibition Donald Judd: The Multicolored Works. Galleries will be open until 9:00 PM.
