The same film will be shown indoors each night; run time is 73 minutes.

It isn’t about watching cat videos, it’s about watching cat videos together. Put on your best cat costume and don’t miss out on the purrs, lolz, and fun when the Walker Art Center’s festival comes to St. Louis. The night will include: 

CAM does not allow pets in the Museum; please leave your furry companions at home. Adoptable pets will be outside the building. 


ST. LOUIS CAT VIDEO CONTEST

Make and share an original short video starring your favorite cat as part of our St. Louis Cat Video Contest. The contest winner will be selected by a combination of the most likes and CAM staff. The contest winner will receive a pair of tickets to one night of the Internet Cat Video Festival and have their short screened before the film. Wednesday, July 8–Sunday, July 13, CAM will share submissions and on Wednesday, July 15, will announce the winner. Submissions are due to CAM by midnight Tuesday, July 7 and must: 

  • Include the starring cat’s name, video title, and creator’s name and social media handle(s)
  • Not exceed 1:00 minute
  • Be one of the following file types: .mov, mp4, .avi, .wmv, .mpegps, .flv, 3gpp, or webm
  • Be screened and approved by CAM before being eligable for posting
  • Be submitted via email to cats@camstl.org

It’s highly recommended that you use Instagram or Vine to create your video. If sharing your video on social media, use #catvidfest and #camstl to connect with an international community of cat video enthusiasts.
