Doors: 7:00 pm / Program: 7:30 pm

With Lisa Yuskavage’s provocative paintings as the backdrop, CAM and Second Tuesdays, a monthly storytelling event held at different locations in St. Louis, present a night of storytelling about the female body.

Eight speakers share personal stories exploring feminine identity, sexuality, and gender roles: stories about the body as a sexual object; stories about moving from a female body to a male body, or vice versa; stories of the politics of dressing the female body, for work, play, and everything else; stories about how the gender binary isn’t real, or how it is pretty real; stories that tell us about hating the female body (yours or others) or loving the female body (yours or others). Hear the voices of your friends, neighbors, and other St. Louis residents on how we picture and define women. As with all Second Tuesdays events, please consider a $1-5 suggested donation to raise grassroots funds in support of the Metro Trans Umbrella Group.
