Dada bash 2017
saturday, february 11
Dada began 100 + 1 years ago by artists and other ne’er-do-wells in the wake of World War I. Dadaists formed an anti-movement. Dadaists made anti-art. Dadaists sought to make the world safe for non-conformity.
Every other year CAM pays homage to our absurdist forbearers with the Dada Ball & Bash. The Ballers dine; the Bashers party after, when things get progressively weirder.
This year, the Dada Bash features glam electro-pop artist SSion, the otherworldly costumes and masks of Cory Sever with his Cast of Bandits, and boogie beats by DJs Crim Dolla Cray and DJ Boogieman.
We invite you! Be a Basher! Fight the rational with the irrational! Counter sense with nonsense!
Dada revitalized art and life during a time of chaos and fear. Sound familiar?
A 100 + 1 anniversary only happens once. In Dada we trust!
Dada Bash Chairs:
- Cole Lu

Proceeds from the Dada Ball & Bash directly benefit the Museum’s thought-provoking exhibitions and innovative education programs.
