Security Guard

The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis seeks Security Guards to join our team. Reporting primarily to the Visitor Experience and Events Manager—as well as Lead Visitor Experience Associates and appropriate full-time CAM staff as necessary—the Security Guard is responsible for the protection of the museum premises, artwork, visitors, and personnel. This position will maintain a high visibility presence in the galleries and be prepared to deter all illegal or inappropriate actions in a professional manner.

This is a part-time position with a variable work schedule that is dependent on programs and events. In addition to staffing regular museum hours, the Security Guard work schedule may include staffing exhibition openings, programs, and events.
