DESCRIPTION:Distinct art forms and senses converse and interplay as Chuck Flowers\, vocalist and Dave Pfanstiel\, visual artist collaborate on an experience in which hearing color and seeing sound are not outside the realm of possibility.  Nick Schleuter\, piano provides a tapestry of harmonies that will sate the soul. \nChuck Flowers\, vocals\nDave Pfanstiel\, painting\nNick Schleuter\, piano \nThis performance is free and open to the public. If you require seating\, please email programs@camstl.org to reserve a seat.\n\nAbout the Artists \nChuck Flowers is one of St. Louis’ most versatile and beloved entertainers—a vocalist\, actor\, and performer whose smooth sound and engaging stage presence have captivated audiences for over two decades. Twice nominated for Best Male Entertainer at the St. Louis Entertainer Awards\, Chuck brings soul\, humor\, and authenticity to every performance. A Gospel Music Hall of Fame Inductee (2025)\, his cabaret collaboration with Katie Dunne McGrath\, Our Favorites\, received enthusiastic reviews. He has performed successful tribute shows to singers such as Bill Withers\, Ray Charles\, Nat King Cole\, and Donny Hathaway. His career includes standout performances in Dreamgirls\, Damn Yankees\, The Gospel at Colonus\, Black Nativity\, and more. He has toured the United States and Europe and shared the stage with legends like Peabo Bryson\, Deniece Williams\, and Morris Day. \nDave Pfanstiel is a painter\, visual artist\, and musician based in St. Louis. His work manifests as abstract expressionism where texture and light are companions. His work has been featured through commissions\, galleries\, and open air festivals across the region. \nNick Schlueter is an active musician\, composer\, and educator in St. Louis. He has performed with Pavlov’s Dog\, Charles Glenn\, Upright Cabaret\, Corey Christiansen\, Jim Manley\, Dawn Weber\, and many others. As a composer\, Schlueter has written pieces for Pavlov’s Dog\, Rich Landers (Jerry Lee Lewis\, Tina Turner\, Marty Ballen) Charles Glenn\, Grace Church (Maryland Heights)\, The Krakow Conservatory\, and more. He is a teacher of contemporary piano\, jazz piano\, musicianship\, theory tutoring\, and songwriting. Additionally\, Schlueter works at Webster University as an accompanist for ensembles and teaches coaching lessons.
