The artists on view this season all tell stories, whether overtly or obliquely. Bobby Norfolk has made a life out of storytelling–as a standup comic in St. Louis comedy clubs, as an actor with the Black Rep, and as a park ranger at the Gateway Arch. As a professional storyteller he’s gained national recognition. Using his voice and his body he creates unforgettable characters and weaves fantastic tales, carrying along the oral tradition.
