More artists are involved in public art than ever before. The infrastructure for public art has grown as well, with public agencies and private organizations investing in projects around the world and in St. Louis. Meridith McKinley, of Via Partnership, will provide a view of the current landscape for public art in this special talk at the museum. Meridith has managed many high-profile public art projects in Missouri, Texas, and Virginia, has successfully secured funding for public art and related education programs, and has co-led and authored public art plans for communities throughout North America. Coffee and light bites will be provided.
