Recently described as “pamphleteers,” Dexter Sinister established the Just-in-Time workshop and Occasional Bookstore in a Lower East Side basement in New York. Working on-demand, utilizing local cheap machinery, considering alternate distribution strategies, and collapsing distinctions of editing, design, production and distribution into one efficient activity, Dexter Sinister folds form into content and re-invents the rules of publishing and dispersion. Dexter Sinister takes over The Front Room in January 2009 in a carte blanche project.
