CAM is pleased to partner with Gateway to the Great Outdoors to host a student exhibition showcasing artwork created by 4th and 5th grade students from Froebel Elementary School as part of Climate & Canvas, a pilot arts and environmental education program. Through sculptures, drawings, paintings, and mixed-media pieces, students explored how children and animals experience and adapt to climate change and extreme weather. The exhibition centers youth perspectives, showing how creativity can express observation, emotion, care, and connection to the changing world around them.
Gateway to the Great Outdoors empowers scholars from low-income households by igniting curiosity through outdoor experiences, building environmental science literacy, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
