About Craig Rivard

Craig Rivard is the co-owner and chef of Little Fox. Rivard was born and raised in St. Louis and started his culinary career as a dishwasher during middle school. He quickly was promoted to line cook. After cooking through high school and into his time at college, he decided to change majors to focus on hospitality. During and following culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America, he spent time working in the Manhattan fine dining scene then transitioned into the emerging Brooklyn farm-to-table food scene. After years spent running restaurants in Brooklyn, Rivard and his wife decided to make the move back to St. Louis to open Little Fox.

Little Fox has drawn the attention of not only local papers and reviewers, but also from the New York Times and Eater. Locally, Rivard has won Chef of the Year with Feast Magazine in 2022 & 2024, and the James Beard Foundation picked Rivard as a semi-finalist for Best Chef Midwest in 2022.
