The Great Rivers Biennial is an exhibition program that identifies talented emerging and mid-career artists working in the greater St. Louis metro area, provides them with financial assistance, and elevates their profile across the Midwest and national art communities. 2026 Great Rivers Biennial applications open April 1, 2025 and close at 11:59 pm CT on June 1, 2025. More information about the application process will soon be announced.
Artists interested in applying for the 2026 Great Rivers Biennial award are invited to join CAM staff and Midwest Artist Project Services co-founder Brigid Flynn at the Museum for an application workshop. Attendees will learn how to submit a competitive application, have the opportunity to ask questions, and meet other applicants. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
