This is a two-day retreat that runs on Friday, March 20, 5:00 pm–9:00 pm and Saturday, March 21, 10:00 am–5:00 pm.
Join Emmy-winning Soprano, writer, composer, and educator Adrienne Danrich for the latest edition of “Music as the Message: Stepping Into Peace,” a transformative weekend retreat. This intimate experience explores the power of music to inspire healing, joy, and community, and is open to all seeking different pathways to peace. Over the course of a two-day retreat, participants will be guided through shared experiences that reveal peace in both calm and chaos, art making that fosters personal and communal healing, and collaboration with guest practitioners Dr. Anu French, Leslie Corey, and Amanda Austin—all culminating in a free performance at The Sheldon Concert Hall.
Free public performances will also be presented at CAM on March 21, including If You Can Breathe, You Can Sing featuring members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s IN UNISON chorus at 12:00 pm and RECORDS with Amanda Austin and Gary Mitchell Jr. at 2:30 pm.
