Tornado Relief Summer Camp

North St. Louis families whose housing and/or childcare was impacted by the May 16 tornado are invited to a free drop-in Summer Camp for children ages 6–14 at CAM on Wednesdays in June from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Teaching artists, community partners, and CAM staff will provide a safe, fun, and accessible environment with creative activities for children. Participants will receive care and support to explore creative projects, access essential items, and take home art kits for continued creative play.

Camp will be divided into two sections: 6–10 years olds and 11–14 years olds. Each section is limited to the first 20 children who are registered onsite each day. Overflow and families who would like to wait at the Museum during Camp are  invited to hang out in CAM’s Performance Space where there will be self-guided activities, space to charge devices, and access to free WiFi. Complimentary lunch for participants and families will be provided at the culmination of each day.
