First Friday: Speak Up LIVE

Start the first Friday of the month with art, music, and culture in the Grand Center Arts District. As always, our galleries will be open one hour later than usual for some late night browsing.

This month, enjoy a live taping of an episode of Speak Up St. Louis, a podcast in residence at CAM. Join host/co-creator Quinton Ward for a live conversation with Lois Conley, Founder/President & CEO of The Griot Museum of Black History followed by live music by Dylan Bozeman (@midnightchocolatesurprise). In their conversation, Ward and Conley will explore The Griot’s recent initiatives, including the new installation by David Adjaye, Asaase III, presented as part of Counterpublic.

As a special bonus, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, educators will receive a complementary drink ticket.
