Join us for a panel discussion with artist Zlatko Ćosić, Chelsea Hand (Workforce Solutions Manger, International Institute St. Louis), and Alex Elmestad (Director of Learning and Engagement, CAM).
More than 65 million people are now classified as refugees throughout the world — “refugee” itself a new identity thrust upon them. Video artist Zlatko Ćosić came to the U.S. from the former Yugoslavia, and his experience of war, displacement, and shifting identities has consequently shaped the content of his art practice. Ćosić will discuss his work in relation to the anxiety of identity in the midst of global diaspora. The program is presented in partnership with the International Institute St. Louis.
