Teen Museum Studies Exhibition Opportunity

An essential part of Teen Museum Studies is the involvement of local artists. We seek proposals for an exhibition in CAM’s Education Galleries, which will be organized by Teen Museum Studies students each summer. The artist selected receives a $1,000 stipend, and their exhibition is part of CAM’s season opening in the fall.

2024 Exhibition

A $1,000 stipend will be provided for time and supplies. Due to the short turnaround time, artists are encouraged to present existing artworks. Please see TMS Artist Exhibition Proposal Guidelines for further information on preparing an application.

Artist exhibition applications open: April 8 through June 3 at 11:59 pm CT.

All works must be onsite by August 9, 2024.

The exhibition will be on view in the Education Galleries from September 6, 2024–February 9, 2025.

Exhibition opening: September 11, 2024

The application requires the following materials:

  • Cover letter describing interest in exhibiting as part of Teen Museum Studies
  • A one-page proposal detailing works to be included
  • Up to 10 images of artwork (jpegs) and image list
  • Artist statement
  • CV

Please see TMS Artist Exhibition Proposal Guidelines for further information on preparing an application.

An artist selected for Teen Museum Studies remains eligible for the Great Rivers Biennial.

Please apply via the link provided. You will be prompted to log in or create a Submittable account to apply.
